CPP Investment Board was undergoing a transition from a “Canadian company doing business globally” to a dynamic “global investment organization.” With a new CEO at the helm, employee communications was identified as a key priority.
How NATIONAL helped
NATIONAL drew up an annual communication calendar plan and arranged for a formal launch of the new intranet, which featured a video of the CEO championing the new program. This was accompanied by several employee outreach initiatives, including a newsletter. Survey results indicated that staff were better informed, viewership of intranet news articles increased and attendance improved at Lunch and Learns and other engagement activities.
