Daniel brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate and industrial reputation, crisis and issues management and media relations. Daniel was previously President and CEO of Quebec Manufacturers and Exporters, where he developed an extensive network in the Quebec business community and government. He joined Octane Strategies in 2006 where he was Managing Partner until NATIONAL acquired the firm in July 2018.
Daniel offers strategic counsel to senior leaders in large cap firms, private companies and trade associations across a number of sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, engineering, culture, and hospitality.
Daniel has advised on a number of negotiations with governments and regulators in the pharmaceutical space and other highly regulated manufacturing industries and has provided support in files ranging from international trade negotiations to development and implementation of strategic communication initiatives.
He holds a Ph.D. in International Political Economy from Science-Po in Paris and a BBA from HEC Montreal. He is Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Club of Montreal and alumni of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
